Three winners will receive full scholarships for the 2017 Summer Camp at the Alamo!

Texas General Land Office Commissioner George P. Bush and San Antonio Mayor Ivy R. Taylor invite San Antonio area children ages 9 to 13 to get creative and let us know what the Alamo means to you by submitting your masterpiece to the Alamo Summer Camp Art Contest!

Three creative winners will be awarded a scholarship for the full value of an Alamo Summer Camp session of their choice, a $250 value! Scholarship winners will also receive a certificate from Mayor Ivy R. Taylor and their winning artwork will be on display on the Alamo grounds.

How it works:

It’s time to get creative, kids. Using the medium and media of your choice create an art project symbolizing the Alamo Church, the most iconic structure in our city. Use ink, paint, collage, crayons, pencils, and anything else you’d like to make your masterpiece. The only limit is your imagination!

All projects must be submitted by May 31, 2017. Please keep project dimensions within 36-inches. Art projects will not be returned to students. Projects may be submitted to:
